MGD (MAE-GAN-DANG)

Maegandang is a neo-traditional band that is based on traditional music, but pursues newness beyond traditional music. They are a trio of three musicians based on traditional Korean music, with the same goal of novelty and innovation for Korean traditional music. 

 

The meaning of maegandang is 'a group that fascinates the audience'. Like its name, Maegandang constantly pursues differentiation and uniqueness in order to deliver amazing music to the audience. Although they have studied traditional music for a long time, they want to achieve our goal through new musical challenges without being bound by the framework.
