Korean Traditional and Shamanic Music! Beatiful Venue and Enthusiastic Audience! Thoughtful Director and Deadicated staff!

The performance at the Lincoln Center, which we prepared for a long time, was successful. It was so happy night with everything.

There was a deep sympathy between the audience and the musicians, and the atmosphere of the venue was warm and comfortable because the musicans, director and related staff were warm-hearted person. And my proud band, The Tune, showed off the best performance they could. Apparently it was the best I've seen in years.

I would like to say a special thanks to Jordana Leigh, the director of the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center for this wonderful night.

6일 저녁 주 워싱턴 한국 문화원의 공연을 마치고 밤 늦게 뉴욕으로 이동하였습니다. 3일간 매일 낯선 곳에서 공연을 한다고 지칠만도 한데 모두 웃으면서 견디고 있어서 다행입니다.

7일 밤에는 링컨센터에서 공연이 있었습니다. 뮤지션, 에이전시, 디렉터 모두가 장시간 애를 쓰며 준비한 공연이었던 만큼 우리 모두에게 아주 특별한 무대였습니다.

더튠을 몇년간 지켜보았고, 많은 공연을 함께했습니다. 항상 놀라운 무대를 보여주는 팀인데, 한번씩 정말 깜짝 놀라게 할때가 있는데 이 무대가 그랬습니다. 연주력은 안정적이고 훌륭했으며, 공연 내내 보인 미소와 열정은 저와 관객들을 울컥하게 하기에 충분했습니다.

그리고 무엇보다 사람들의 마음을 움직여서 관객들과 교감하는게 보였습니다. 뮤지션에게도 관객에게도 기획자에게도 울림이 있는 공연이었습니다.

이 공연을 위해 큰 도움을 주신 링컨센터의 조르다나 감독님께 감사의 말씀을 전합니다. 완벽한 무대, 맛있는 점심, 멋진 대기실 등 뮤지션을 위한 배려가 느껴졌습니다. 그리고 너무나 헌신적으로 도와준 David Rubenstein Atrium의 스텝들에게 감사드립니다.

이 링컨센터의 공연을 마치고 8일 새벽에 콜롬비아의 메데진으로 이동하여 라틴아메리카를 대표하는 음악마켓인 서큘아트에 참여하였습니다. 또 좋은 소식 전하겠습니다.
