이부영 트리오가 인도양의 아름다운 섬나라인 모리셔스섬에서 개최되는 마마 재즈에 초대를 받아 떠납니다. 마마 재즈는 한날 내내 개최되며, 워크샵 및 다양한 프로그램과 함께 진행이 됩니다. 특히 14일에 있는 메인 콘서트는 녹화를 통해 1시간 분량의 공연이 방송으로 송출됩니다.
2017년에 이한얼 트리오를 초대하였던 마마재즈는의 Gavin Poonoosamy는 어쿠스틱 사운드를 선호하는 감독으로, 아주 짜임새있고 완성도 높은 공연을 기획하는 기획자입니다. 올해에는 서울뮤직위크에 초청인사로 참여도 할 예정입니다. 좋은 뮤지션을 인도양에 소개할 자리를 만들어 준가빈 감독에게 감사의 말을 전합니다.
이부영 트리오의 해외 공연을 축하드리며, 다음 프로젝트인 이부영 듀오 with 송영주도 기대하겠습니다.

BuYoung Lee is a jazz vocalist who singing with various color and detail. People call BuYoung Lee an impressionist vocalist. Her vocal style is a unique mixture of the traditional American swing and an intelligent European approach which roots in her educational background in the Netherlands. She sings various emotions using a flexible collection of techniques. Younwoo Park and Hyunwoo Yeo, who are well-known for their stable performances, will be among the performers at home and abroad.
MAMA JAZ is a jazz festival, held in the Indian Ocean, which invites jazz musicians from all over the world as well as jazz musicians from Mauritius. MAMA JAZ’s vision is based on the values of the International Jazz Day, established by UNESCO in 2012. It grows little by little every year, and it has a reputation as the good program. The general Director, Gavin Poonoosamy is interested in acoustic jazz music. So the program consists of bands of natural sounds that exclude electronic sounds.
