groove&

그루브앤드는 여성 타악 연주자 3명으로 이루어진 여성 타악 트리오입니다. 그루브앤드는 창의적인 발상과 악기에 대한 접근을 통해 한국 전통 타악기들이 얼마나 다양한 소리를 낼 수 있는지, 그리고 타악기만으로도 얼마나 다양한 감정들을 표현할 수 있는지 작품을 통해 이야기하고 있습니다. 놀아운 창의력과 집중력을 가진 그루브앤드의 음악을 통해 한국의 타악기를 전 세계의 사람들이 이해하였으면 좋겠습니다.

"groove&" is consisted of three women, and all members are Korean traditional percussionists. They play lots of percussion, and make new songs based on the Korean beat. They thought percussion is that it can make anything groove. That's why they employed the word 'groove' followed by the '&' representing our infinite possibilities and the potential imaginations the audience can dream.

Thanks to their outstanding performance, they were selected in music markets such as Seoul Music Week in 2021-2022, WOMEX 2022, Mundial Montreal 2022,  Journey to Korean Music 2021 and received favorable reviews.
